Senior Nodejs Engineer

About project: This is a digital marketplace where users can buy and sell vouchers, digital codes. Our current focus is on redesigning the system architecture to make it scalable and capable of growing into a full exchange for trading vouchers at market scale.

The platform is built on a microservices architecture with 30+ independently deployable services.

Required skills and experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Node.js Developer;

• Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS;

• Experience with PostgreSQL (TypeORM or other ORM solutions);

• Experience with Redis;

• Experience with fintech projects + experience with integrating payment systems;

• Experience with AWS cloud or any other;

• Knowledge of software development processes such as testing, code review, debugging, estimation, and production support;

• Ability to independently analyze requirements and implement solutions;

• Experience with message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMq);

• Experience with high load projects;

• Experience with creating projects from scratch;

• Experience with Kubernetes.

Nice to have:

• Experience on Lead positions; 

• General understanding about blockchain;

• Experience with service / microservice architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with Solution Architect and Tech Lead and work with system architecture design;

• Make code review for other team members;

• Ability to help other team members;

• Help create and enforce strong engineering standards, code quality, and best Engineering practices.
